I am too old (mature?) to be a virgin-anything, but here I am blogging for the first time. Led to this experience by a desire to understand what my students and the rest of the world are doing, I find myself wondering why communication skills are so abysmal despite the myriad opportunities to communicate. If everyone blogs and emails, Twitters and tweets and texts, then why can't anyone properly express themselves clearly?
